First day of Senior School
So today was the first day of Year 11 and we really spent the whole day listening to teachers telling us how screwed we're going to be if we don't study. How different and how much more work senior school is going to be. Well, i guess one good point was that i didn't get my economics assessment back - as paix had broken her foot and had to 'duck out' - meaning that at least i didn't have to -immediately- start off my year with a complete and utter failure. Also, i also found out that being in first class maths means that you're basically pressured to do 4unit maths. Although my mum absolutely doubts my ability to do maths, i think i'll give it a go. Though i hope it doens't end in utter failure... like a lot of other things.
On Thursdays i have Quad English. Oh Crapola. man double enlgihs is bad enough but QUADRUPLE ENGLISH?! seriously, you've got to be kidding me , ughhh. And this only ever gives Maggie more to laugh at, those who bother doing 3 u eng and is online T___________T
At first i thought, man this year i'm so set for English. I have Cariaian and Mcnicol, what could go wrong?
BUT NOW IT'S NOT ALRIGHT, GOD CARIAIN ISN'T TEACHING ANYMORE and now i have this lil blondie teacher called ms Bowey. but really, i'm very depressed right now because now my english worries ARE BACK TO HAUNT ME. CARAIAAANNNN TT_____________TT
i'm not saying the new teacher is bad, but seeing as she hasn't taught before and is young , nothing compared to good'ol Cariaians experience. my confidence in her is nothing compared to Caraians. I'm very very very sad that i am also going to fail at English. and Bowey also said that she'll take us next year. oh deary deary
Oh whoopdidoo to 2010.
i can only ever sit back and work my butt off hoping that maybe the gods of failure will spare me this year. yes, but other than the soon to be bleak future revealed today, I guess it was pretty cool to see everyone again.
We have like 20 new people in our grade though i haven't met any of them yet =( which kinda sucks coz i want to meet them all :D
there aren't many in my classes and those that are, sits across the room =( i shall have to find new ways to communicate to these new people rofl.
I am now a proud senior pineapple/lemon girl (Y) i can't wait till tmrow where i get to show off to all the other juniors my beautiful and very fashionable bright yellow shirt and olive green skirt! yes, of course they will tower in my intimidation HAHAHAH.
I guess all i can say now is that, i'll try my very best this year, hope for the very best and probably enjoy my last year in somewhat-freedom.

More for later (:
Cheers!

BLOG while i still have the urge to.
While the title of this post seems to me like i have some kind of 'pleasure' in blogging, i don't. not that kind of 'pleasure' anyway. If anything, i am satisfied to just blurt out whatever's spitting out of my mouth(fingers) and as you can see from my past archives, sometimes i can go months without this urge so when i do get the urge i should take advantage of it and make productive use of it.
Hence why i am here now.
I decided i shall dedicate this post to my new dog (: BECAUSE I LOVE HIM SO MUCH! and that he's the newest biggest thing in my life. not physcially big of course, just metaphorically big. See my dog is a Japanese Spitz and he is now 9 weeks old, he first moved in at 8 weeks. and even in that span of one week i believe that he has grown D: i must take pictures and lots and lots of them before he grows out of being puppy and he's a big boy and everything :D:D:D:D
HAHAHAHAHHA yes, i am an overobsessed mother and my parents did tell me treat him like a son. and i have (:
His name is Crunchie and i will post pics/vids later after i can be bothered to upload... and fyi he is acutally not named after a chocolate, he is acutally named after Crunchy wiht an ie coz both me and my bro's name ends in ie so we decided, to integrate him into our asian family we wanted to name him Crunchy wiht an ie too (: AND FOR THOSE PEOPLE OUT THERE *ahem* I DO APPRECIATE IT IF YOU DO NOT DISS HIS NAME.
He is the most adorable ball of fluff you will ever see and you will fall in love wiht him just like i have :D and erin has, and the people on teh street have because he's just that cute :D
man i should've named him Prince. but that'd be plain arrogance D:<
anyhow, apart from his outer appearance, he is acutally a very big bundle of trouble though he is adjusting well in this past week HES' SUPER SMART LIKE, I TAUGHT HIM HOW TO SIT :D:D:D
AND HE CAN LIE DOWN TOO! sometimes, that definitely needs more work. Because he's asian he's going to be a genius coz he's just cool like that (Y)
he bumped into my glass window/door :D but taht was once, he never did it again. He loves biting fingers, wrists, ankles, legs. but i think that might be a puppy habit and i do hope he grows out of it. He's super excited whenver he sees us after we leave him to go out for a while coz he loves us that much (:
Today i went out wiht him for a walk, and like all the previous walks i've been wiht him, he never walks out front. Contradictory to my first impressions that dogs walk in front, Crunchie always walked behind - trying to catch up - and beside me. however i assumed that he was just being a girl and was just too scared. Which turned otu to be true, BECAUSE TODAY WAS THE FIRST TIME HE WALKED IN FRONT OF ME from the end of the street to my house coz he FINALLY KNOWS HIS WAY HOME! I AM SO PROUD!
now i know how it feels when you're an actual mother and your child takes his/her first step
*tears of joy*
anyway, after that drama episode i am very proud to say that my dog is very intelligent ( more than i even thought ) and that after only one week, he is trained to pee/poo on newspapers indoors in enclosed spaces, and on grass outdoors.
though i am slightly bummed to always be the pooper scooper, that's part of the contract for owning a dog, but i'm not saying i regret it because i really don't.
he is my bundle of joy. Someone who will (hopefully) never leave me, always be there when i need him and doesn't walk out. like some other might.

All in all, i am super happy that i now own a dog :D after 15 years ( well slightly less) of wanting one and begging for one, i have done the impossible in the eyes of my parents because the dog was a deal (:
but of course that's confidential.
i shall post more about him because he's my baby.

Cheeries :D,
Steph

NEW LOOK for 2O1O
although i am 13 days late for the new look, it's the thought that counts and i know what you're thinking. you're thinking, gee she's used it in the wrong context but really, i don't care if i have >____>
i should pick off where i left off lastt ime an di shall start wiht my trip to Tasmania. I left on 25th December and drove 9 hours down to melbourne
then it was quite the disaster becuase it was christmas day and no shops were open so we basically starved alll day. Then we took the "spirit of Tasmania" down to Tasmania (well whoopdidoo) and then we drove all around Tasmania, avging 3 hours a day. then we came back on the 2nd of January. as for NYE, i was on the Devonport habour watching fail fireworks (Y)
but fireworks all the same, they were pretty sad and small but hey, it's NYE.
My overview on the trip to Tasmania is , in terms of civilisation it is a hole.
besides Hobart and a select few other towns but otherwise, there wasn't much food. Seeing Macdonalds waslike OMGAH. MACCAS KYAHH!
And it was also the first time i ever ate Chinese Takeaway :D yeah, believe it or not i've never eaten it before doubting it's taste and i was half right. it was.... maaaamaaa but better than i anticipated.
moving on from food, apart from food - THOUGH I MUST MENTION there are foods in Tasmania that are AWESOMELY DELICIOUSSSS LIKE YUM ~! like CHERRIES, they're acutally HEART SHAPED! really nice dark red heart shapes SWEET MASSIVE CHERRIES!
ahahahhaha i'll pop your cherry ;)

no i'm kidding (:
also, TASSY HAS GOOD JAM! probably due to the good cherries, raspberries, strawberries... everything. we bought a kilo-two kilos of cherries everyday :D all YUMMY and cheaper (than supermarkets)
okay, now really moving on from food, the rest of Tasmania is definitely worth it. My family doesn't mind long car trips seeing as my dad loves driving. The moutainous landscapes were defienitely a thumbs up. Being there kind of felt like New Zealand except hotter ><
my Dad loves photos so i think he felt likehe was in heaven what wiht all the beautiful backgrounds and all. Going there felt like Duke of Ed alll over again :D coz again my dad loves bush walking so yeah. we hiked it up nearly all the tracks we could find- given the little time we had. although it was hard to hike in my sneakers (ohmybeautifulvolleyballoneswhichmydadforcedmetousebutididn'twanttocoztheywereforVOLLEYBALL!)
the "reward" at the very summit is definitely worth a few specks of dirt on my sneakers. HAHAHA nahh i'm kidding, i mean it's definitely breath taking.
I absolutely LOVE the air after it rains or even during because i love the smell of the freshness of it. It smels positively Beautiful. and on top of Mt Cradle thats what it smells like. the green of forage and an open sky, littered with lakes of crystal and the occasional sun beaming through the pillow of clouds- i love it.

After all the rocks we did visit a few touristy places like the CADBURY FACTORY - seriously, the BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT AT ALL. i heard so much about it how it was so cool about the tubs of chocolate and what not. but when we got there, we had to pay to get in. to get to the discount chocolate shop. to buy more chocolate.
LIKE WADDAHELLAMAN?! i think it might be because they stoppe dthe factory tours due to the amounting no. of asian tourists. HAH.
so, it was a total rip. though we did get some 'free' choclates.... probably prepaid from entyr fees >__> bumholes.
WE WENT TO SEE PLATYPUSES AND ECHINDNASS i never knew echidnas were so damn cute (: really, i touched one :D and didn't die.
well i guess my memory fails right now coz i've got a lot of my mind. i shall type off later (: and ocntinue if i rmb anything.

Cheers!
Steph.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I realise that it's a bit late to blog for Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and also for the events of December 2009, however i must because i have beena lazy crap and i acutally did try to blog in December except my comp crahsed in the middle and none of it was saved so i just decided, screw.
I also have to include my New Year Reso's and also my lookback at 2009 thus i warn you no-lifes out there (if you even exist) who read this that this is going to be a very long post and behold ....... ultimate guilt of wasting your time on it. HAHAHA. but i know that that won't be much of a problem as no one does read this stuff :P it's way too unknown.

Well i just wasted two paragraphs so i should make a start on the evens of December 2009. First the Economics assessment. UGH PLEASE NEVER BRING IT UP AGAIN, but seeing as thats impossible as i would recieve teh results of it on teh very first day of the term i shall once again be reminded of MY FAILURE thus i shall rant about it now. Who knew it woudl be so long?! AND THE QUESTIONS WERE EASY, SO WHY WAS IT THAT I HAD A MIND BLANK AND HAD TO MAKE UP CRAP INSTEAD. WHEN I REMEMBERED IT 5 MINUTES AFTER PENS DOWN. really, my brain hates me. but enough on that- i can't remember much of it anymore after the holidays. not that i want to remember it. i dont know how i'm going to get my goal ATAR when teh average of the first year 12 assessment ever is 66%. and i do not think that i am likely to surpass the average by many miles. which sucks. but nevertheless it is over and right after that i left for Melbourne (: to play volleyball of course.

If anyone is even bothered to look back in my archives you'll find the post that i wrote after i came back form Melbourne in 2008. and that the results weren't particularly flashy. Though that did teach me a few lessons. i still hold my grudge against Billanook, Loxton and all those pooed up teams out there. BUT we never got to verse this year UNFORTUNATELY because we would hve smahsed them (: of course. *cough*
However, WE DID COME 2ND IN OUR DIVISION. THAT IS U/17'S DIVISION 1. THAT'S RIGHT SILVER MEDLAISTS WE ARE. AND THANK GOD FOR THAT AFTER ALL THE EFFORT INTO CAR WASHING, CAR VACUUMING AND ALSO PARENT BEGGING. AND PRINCIPAL BEGGING AT THAT. I guess it was worth it, after all we technically are
National Champions runners up
And now to do a review/report. There were only 6 teams in our division this year, a big change from last years 16 teams. However that doens't mean that we had easy wins. We played a double round robin and for those who do not what that is , it's a round robin ( where we play every team) except double ( so we play them twice). during the first round robin we won every game - Mandurah, Willunga, Heathfield 1, Heathfield 2, Kew. although we beat 4/5of those teams in 2 sets wihotut much trouble Willunga did prove to be a bit of a bummer. We did beat them in the 3rd set however it was tough. During the game with Heathfield 2 i sprained my ankle ( this was the 2nd day) and spraining it is kind of an underestimate. i was blocking and when i landed i stepped on either Vicky's foot or the person on teh otehr teams and then rolled my ankle. after that i collapsed and couldn't get up using that ankle. Although i thought it seemed pretty minor first up, it proved to be a bitch. It swelled up and it was full red and it hurt like crap every time i put my weight on it. i did play on it the next day after it was strapped up until it became numb. it hurt. like crap. D:
Anyway, moving away from my self pity *cough, during the 2nd round robin, the teams came back stronger. We lost to Heathfield 2 and also to Willunga. However i do want to comment that we lost to both those teams on teh same day and that the fault was on us, and not them. Also, the game against Kew was also a lot more heated than the first. Neverthe less, winning 8/10 games during the double round robin placed us First in the draw, closely followed by Willunga, alsowinning 8/10 however only trailing by a few points. And then came the final. We did lose to Willunga in the final but i guess it was a good game. We didn't fail and we played our best yet we still lost thus i am still proud to come 2nd. Contrary to if we lost and we played like crap then i would beat myself in.
About Willunga. The team itself was ordinary but what made it a winning team was a single player also by the name Steph. She was a GIANT. she was like a whole head and a half taller than me. Hit like a tank. and stood like one too. T___T compared to our team which are a bunch of little asians ( except for Maggie of course) and we looked very unintimidating (except for Maggie and Erin of course) compared to her. But still. a very tall freak of nature o_o
And now a final review on our team. As a captain, i am very proud of my team and i daresay that i haven't seen my team this co-ordinated since our early year 7 days of volleyball. It was great and it's miraculous what a little bit of communication and the push back of our previous grudges can do on a volleyball court. And of course it paid. Our training paid off and especially wiht that bit of communication, excelled greatly :P and to think we lost to muirfield twice in gradesport! (haha, i must've been drunk). Muirfield played u/16s div 2 - THEY ARE COMPLETE WUSSES. PLAYING AT SUCH A LOW LEVEL and of course they came first. but what would be the point in such an easy earned gold medal?
I hope that our team, after 2009 Melbourne would be able to realise this POWER OF COMMUNICATION AND LACK OF GRUDGEDNESS and hopefully will be able to harness it and maintain it in teh future. IT WOULD DO OUR TEAM WONDERS (Y)
ALL IN ALL I'M SUPER SUPER SUPER HAPPY ABOUT THIS YEARS RESULTS! i completed my lasts years reso of bringing back BLINGBLING in the 2009 Melbourne. WE WIN!

Moving on, after a weekend back from melbourne it was our formal. in fact it was the very first time that i myself dressed up formally. also teh first time i've seen everyone dressed up. AND IT WAS SO COOL! because everyone was so beautiful :D The long-awaited formal turned out to be pretty cool, the music was good, courtesy an old man DJ *shifty* and also just the hyped up ness of staying up late. for me at least. :P sadly because of my injured ankle, i couldnt' dance much T__T it hurt too much but i guess in that sense i'm glad i had ane xcuse not to dance beacuse when you dance next to Jen it's impossible not to look unko. ;) GO JEN!
so i mainly just sat around drinking :D and taking pictures of course. too bad i'm so lazy to post them but if you're really that interested they are on facebook. I GOT SPAMMED 143 EMAILS FROM FACEBOOK AFTER ONE NIGHT.
well to be honest, i really enjoyed the night :D especially seeinge veryone out of their uniforms and also a bit more BLINGY than mufti !
THANKYOU DANIEL FOR BEING SUCH AN AWESOME FORMAL DATE HAHAHAHA (Y)

Wow, my fingers are acutally pretty tired form typing allt his and i don't even know why i bother. but... I NOW AM QUALIFIED (by my dad) TO GET A DOG BECAUSE OF MY REPORT AND MY AWARDS HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA I'M SO HAPPPYy!!!!! I WANT A JAPANESE SPITZ AND FOR ALL YOU LAZY PPL OUR THERE JUST GOOGLE IT BECAUSE IT'S TEH CUTEST THING EVAR AND I AM GOING TO GET ONE AND THEN THAT WOULD BE THE CUTEST THING EVAR BECAUSE IT'S MINE. :D i love caps spam!
i've wanted a dog my whole life D: no kidding. i want to name it ShuShu :D and dont' ask me why i want to name it that or wha exactly does it mean, because i don't know. i just decided that everytime my mum would want the dog away form her and she says SHOO SHOO it'll come even closer
BWAHAHAHHAHA (: i'm a nice girl. really.
well anyway, i guess that draws the review on 2009 to a close. and seirously i cbb typing up my new year reso's or a 2009 lookback T______T
so i shall leave that for another bored day of the holiday haha :P which will be quite soon i predict
but i promise, that i shall START STUDYING ECONOMICS THIS WEEK BECAUSE IT'S IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO FEEL LIKE CRAP WHEN YOU'RE FRIENDS WITH ECONERDFREAKS. hah. oh dear, China is so boring )=
OH AND I ALMOST FORGOT, I SHALL DO A REPORT ON MY HOLIDAY IN TASMANIA TOO, next time ;)

But still, I wish you all a Merry Late Christmas and Happy 3 days Late New Year ~!
